For designers, nine editions
Your open desk is here by the day or by the month, and the hall these series run in is at the same address. And if the next edition is yours to run, that hall is booked by the slot.
Nine editions of Coffee & Sketch
Coffee & Sketch is a drawing session led by Asma Habib, and it has reached its ninth edition in Al-Ma'arij. Women Who Design has reached its fourth, and The Brand Factory, a one-day design sprint, its third. Nine editions means an audience that comes back.
Come to the next edition
New dates are published on the events page, registration opens for each one separately, and seats are limited. The same page carries an archive going back to 2022, so you can read what has already run.
Run your own evening
Al-Ma'arij is MAZJ's events hall: up to 30 people, a screen and a sound system, booked in slots of two to five hours. It is enough for showing work, a drawing workshop, or an evening you invite people to. The team sets it up with you before the date.
The rest of the month
The monthly subscription opens 24/7 entry and takes 15% off Al-Malqa. That room has a writable wall for drawing an idea in front of a client, and a screen for showing the whole file.
About the series
- I'm a designer in Al-Khobar and I'd like to meet other designers. Does anything like that happen at MAZJ?
- Yes, in MAZJ's Al-Ma'arij hall in Al-Olaya, Al-Khobar: Coffee & Sketch for drawing, Women Who Design, and The Brand Factory, which is a one-day design sprint. All three keep returning, and the longest running of them has reached its ninth edition.
