Terms of Service

The terms that govern your bookings, your subscription, and your use of the MAZJ space.

Who we are

MAZJ (مزج) is a shared workspace operated by MAZJ Al-Omrania One Person Company, registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at Life Tower, Zaid Ibn Alkhattab Street, Al-Olaya, Al-Khobar. These terms govern your use of our website (mazj.org), your bookings made through it, and the MAZJ space itself. Our VAT registration number is shown at the foot of this page.

Accepting these terms

By booking a space, entering the premises, or using our website, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement. Where you accept online, your electronic acceptance is valid and binding under the Electronic Transactions Law of Saudi Arabia, with the same effect as a signature.

Your subscription and the spaces

A booking or subscription gives you a limited, revocable licence to use the space and services you have paid for. It is not a lease or tenancy, and gives you no ownership or property interest in the premises. Depending on your plan, it may include the open desk, a private office (حيّز), the meeting room (Al-Malqa), the events hall (Al-Ma'arij), or a day pass.

Bookings and payment

Spaces are booked on our website and paid for at the prices shown at checkout. Prices are in Saudi Riyals and include 15% VAT unless stated otherwise, and a tax invoice is issued for each purchase in line with ZATCA rules. Payment methods include cards, Tamara and Tabby. Subscriptions renew and are billed as described on your plan, with fees payable in advance.

Cancellations and refunds

Bookings are made for a specific date or period. Once a booking is confirmed, the fee is non-refundable, and the events hall may require a deposit. Where Saudi consumer law gives a cancellation right, it applies only where the service has not yet been used and the booking is not for a fixed date that has passed. If your plans change, contact us before your booked time and we will help where we can. Any refundable deposit is returned after your account is settled.

Access and security

Eligible space subscribers are given 24/7 access using a personal digital access credential, a QR code or an access card, issued through our booking system; the space is also staffed during opening hours. Your access credential is personal and must not be shared, lent or transferred, and you must not let anyone enter behind you without their own access. Tell us immediately if your credential is lost or misused. We may enter any area for cleaning, maintenance, inspection, security or emergencies.

House rules and conduct

MAZJ is a shared, professional space. We ask everyone to be respectful and considerate, and we do not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind. Please keep noise reasonable, keep shared areas tidy, and follow Saudi law and local norms of public conduct. Smoking and vaping indoors, alcohol, and any unlawful or improper activity are not allowed.

Guests and visitors

You are welcome to bring guests within the limits of your plan. Guests should be registered, sign in at reception, and stay with you during their visit. You are responsible for your guests' conduct and for any damage they cause. Deliveries and couriers are received at reception.

How the space may not be used

You may not run a competing coworking or workspace business from MAZJ, and you may not resell, sublet or transfer your desk, access or subscription to anyone else. You may not use MAZJ's address as your registered, commercial or legal address without a separate written agreement with us. Illegal activity, and weapons or hazardous materials, are strictly prohibited.

Meeting room and events hall

The meeting room (Al-Malqa) and events hall (Al-Ma'arij) are booked through our booking system and are subject to time and capacity limits. A no-show or a late cancellation may forfeit the fee. Events in Al-Ma'arij may be subject to setup and teardown arrangements and to sign-off by our team.

Your property, damage and insurance

You are responsible for your own belongings; MAZJ is not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen or damaged on the premises. You are responsible for any damage that you or your guests cause to MAZJ's property or equipment. We recommend that you arrange your own insurance for your property and business.

Internet and acceptable use

We provide internet access for your work, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available or secure, so please keep your own devices protected. You must not use our network for anything unlawful or abusive, and we may disconnect any device that threatens the network or anyone else using the space.

Intellectual property

The MAZJ name, logo, website and content belong to us. You may use the website and services for your own personal and business use in line with these terms, but you may not copy, reproduce or reuse our brand or content without our written permission.

Our liability

To the fullest extent allowed by Saudi law, MAZJ's total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the booking that gave rise to it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profit or business. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or anything else that cannot be excluded under Saudi law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if fees are unpaid, or if your conduct is unlawful or incompatible with a shared workspace. When your access ends, you must remove your belongings, leave the premises, and settle any outstanding balance.

Your privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of Saudi Arabia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and by continuing to use our services after a change you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the principles of Islamic Sharia. Any dispute arising from them, or from your use of our services, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Eastern Province (Al-Khobar).
